The Gobi espresso cup set combines bold cylindrical forms with curved lines in pressed glass, drawing on traditional glassware techniques developed within the studio glass movement. Designed by Roderick Vos, the one-color construction gives both cups a clean, minimalist continuity with a characterful finish. Each set includes two universal saucers compatible with both the espresso cups and the matching cappuccino mugs in the Gobi series, allowing for flexible pairing.

Inspired by the legacy of Andries Copier — harbinger of the international studio glass movement — the 'Gobi' series fuses fine art in glass with utilitarian glassware. Drawing on traditional techniques, the espresso cup blends bold cylinders and curved lines in pressed glass pieces that are both characterful and minimalist. The one-color design by Roderick Vos for Polspotten gives this set of two cups a clean continuity and sense of refinement.
