The Talasa Serving Tray features a hand-carved undulating edge inspired by wave forms, shaped after an antique tray design. Crafted from mango wood, it carries a hand-painted mustard finish with a high-shine gloss that draws out the natural grain of the wood. The combination of carved detailing and glossy surface adds tactile and visual contrast to the piece.
Our Talasa Tray is named after the Greek word for 'sea', in homage to its hand-carved undulating edge that resembles a wave. The shape is based upon an antique tray and made using mango wood, which is then hand-painted in an earthy mustard tone with a high-shine gloss that brings out the grain of the wood.
