The Whisky Glasses offer a tapering, hand-moulded glass form with a distinctive strong detail accent and soft lines. The gently tapering bowl concentrates the aroma of deep-flavoured single malts, while the rounded base sits comfortably in the hand. A dome inside the glass creates a pouring reference point and a striking arrangement for ice cubes resting on the spout. Supplied as a set of 2 in a gift box, the glasses are best washed by hand with soft cloths or natural-bristle brushes. W[x] x D[x] x H[x] cm
Another of Rikke Hagen 's extremely aesthetically pleasing, unique projects related to serving liquor. This time the designer has created whisky glasses with an eye-catching, extremely attractive form. Moulded from handmade glass, the vessels are characterised by a form reminiscent of Normann Copenhagen cognac and liqueur glasses, based on a decisive strong detail accent and soft lines. The gently tapering shape collects the aroma of the whisky inside, which is particularly important for those savouring deep-flavoured, unrefrigerated single malts. The rounded base encourages the glass to be held in the hand. The dot over the 'i' is provided by the dome placed inside the glass. The spear provides a convenient reference point for pouring the right portion of the drink (ideally, it protrudes slightly above its level, allowing the liquid that has reached its surface to evaporate). For whisky drinkers 'on the rocks', the dome helps to create an aesthetically pleasing arrangement of cubes that will rest impressively on the spout. The whisky glass by Rikke Hagen also makes an attractive gift packaged in a striking box. Inside the box you will find 2 pieces of original, extremely impressive hand-moulded glassware.Normann Copenhagen whisky glasses are best washed by hand, washing in the dishwasher is allowed but not recommended and may cause the glass to age faster (scratches, haze, etc.)The glasses can be washed in the dishwasher, but this is not recommended. Hand washing with fine cloths or brushes with natural bristles is preferred.
