The Lam rectangular tablemats feature an organic shape with a simple block pattern and border formed by the natural colour variations of the dried plant material. Woven from water hyacinth, a river weed harvested in Vietnam, each mat carries the texture and tonal character of the raw fibre. The set of four is produced by local weavers who make use of this invasive aquatic species, giving the material a sustainable origin.
