The stoneware Oiva snack bowl by Marimekko brings together clean-lined design and the iconic Unikko floral pattern. While the vessel itself was designed by Sami Ruotsalainen, the striking graphic print was created in 1964 by Maija Isola, famously defying the brand's ban on florals. Delightfully compact, it is the perfect little piece for serving accompaniments in true Scandinavian style.Advantages:With a 9 cm diameter and 2.6 cm height, it offers a neat footprint that is just right for a serving of dips, olives, or nuts without crowding the table. It is fully dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe, which lets you effortlessly serve snacks both hot and cold. The flat base and subtly raised rim keep savoury oils and liquid dressings neatly contained as guests reach in.A smooth glazed stoneware finish prevents food residues from clinging, ensuring it rinses clean in no time under running water. The bold floral print lends a vibrant, artistic touch to your table setting, looking just as charming when displayed empty on a shelf.Good to know:Please peel off the sticker from the base before the first use, as it contains small metal particles that are unsuitable for the microwave. This little snack dish holds just the right amount of nibbles to enjoy before dinner. And if they vanish in under a minute, you can always claim you were simply eager to unveil the gorgeous design underneath.
