The Louisa Confetti Tumbler set of 4 combines hand-blown clear glass with fragments of pink confetti glass fused into the surface at 1100 degrees. Each piece is shaped by a Balearic glassblower in Mallorca using a technique carried across the Mediterranean by Moorish craftsmen in the tenth century, with the fragments caught mid-turn to create irregular patterning across the glass walls. The distribution of pink fragments varies across each tumbler, producing subtle differences in how light interacts with the surface.
