Ikora Set of 2 Mugs - Yellow, Reactive Glazed Stoneware

The Ikora mugs combine a warm ombre appearance with a handcrafted reactive ... glazing process, in which metal oxides and contrasting enamels are layered and fired to draw out depth of colour and surface variation. Made from stoneware clay sourced and worked by hand in Portugal, each mug carries subtle differences in tone and texture as a result of the firing conditions and manual application. The minimalist form reflects a long-standing ceramics tradition, with glazes developed from untreated natural materials. Both mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe, with a 25cl capacity. Diameter 8.5 cm x H 9.5 cm.
