The Ikora jug combines a deep blue ombre finish with clean, minimalist line... s, produced through a handcrafted reactive glazing technique developed over generations at a family-run ceramics business in Portugal. Metal oxides are applied after an initial firing, then covered with a contrasting enamel that draws out the oxides during a second firing, with the final colour determined by temperature, firing duration, and enamel application. The stoneware body is formed from high-quality regional clay and natural, untreated glazes, ensuring each piece carries its own distinct character.
