The Azoia small serving dish offers a handcrafted reactive glaze construction rooted in a Portuguese ceramics tradition dating back to 1886. Its stoneware body is formed from locally sourced clay, while the glaze combines metal oxides and a contrasting enamel coat applied across two firings, creating the characteristic blue and brown tones with natural variation in colour and surface texture. The firing conditions — including temperature, duration, and enamel thickness — determine the final appearance, ensuring each piece remains one of a kind. Dishwasher and microwave safe, it measures W18 x D29.5 x H3.5 cm.
