The medium bowl features radiant hand-shined construction mounted on a contrasting black marble plinth for dynamic visual interest. Its versatile design works decoratively or for dining purposes, while the stable marble base ensures secure positioning. The contrasting elements create balanced duality, and the luminous finish adds refined style to table settings.
Dynamism defines this capsule series by Kasper Friis Egelund for Gejst. Black marble plinths, upholding radiant hand-shined vessels, are the heroes in this collection entitled 'Sapoto', a Japanese word meaning 'with support'. The interdependency of the two contrasting, interacting elements speaks to the importance of balance and duality. This medium mounted bowl can be used decoratively, or in dining, as a feature, or alongside other ‘Sapoto’ pieces for a striking, luminous aesthetic.
