These are the standard U K size where we put the cutlery on the table each side of the placemat. It is strong and durable due to the solid eucalyptus board in the middle. The surface is melamine coated for heat resistance to approximately 140 degrees Celsius. The backing is of dark green baize to protect your table from scratches. Designed in the Cotswolds it has a retro style. Each has a signature trademark so you can be assured of owning an authentic product made in small batches in England. Wipe the top surface clean with a slightly damp soft cloth or sponge. Sticky marks may need a tiny bit of washing up liquid on the cloth. Crumbs can be removed from the baize backing with a scrunched up piece of dry kitchen paper and gently rubbed off. Please do not immerse in water as the wood will warp and the placemat will delaminate. Enjoy!
