The butter dish combines whimsical tomato styling with practical tableware function. Its earthenware material provides excellent temperature retention, while the fitted lid keeps contents fresh. The multicoloured glazing adds visual appeal to dining presentation, and the sturdy construction ensures reliable daily use.
With the humble tomato chosen as its starting point, Bordallo Pinheiro's 'Tomate' butter dish exemplifies the way in which creative non-conformity and functionality do not exclude themselves. A seamless combination of vibrant color and high quality earthenware, this dish brings nature, humor and joy to the dining table in equal doses.
