Moomins Mr. Hemulen Dinner Plate 19 cm - Ceramic Tableware

This 19 cm ceramic plate from Arabia's Moomin collection features the Mr. Hemulen character from Tove Jansson's Moomins' Valley. Its slightly raised rim keeps small items such as grapes securely in place, while the diameter suits sandwiches or cakes. Available in a range of colours, characters and scenes, it can be combined with other pieces from the collection to build a coordinated table setting. The Moomin designs were first approved by Tove Jansson in the 1950s, reflecting Arabia's long-standing Finnish ceramic heritage.

Plates from the Moomin collection by Arabia will transport both children and adults into the world of the characters of the popular Moomins' Valley, a place made famous by the books of Finnish writer Tove Jansson. The different colours, characters and scenes, familiar from the books and films about the Moomins, will allow everyone to choose the products whose atmosphere and character they like best. The ceramic plates with a diameter of 19 cm will become part of an exceptionally fairy-tale table ware and are perfect as plates for sandwiches or cakes. Thanks to the slightly raised rim, even mischievous grapes will not fall off the plate! The Arabia brand has been leading the way in Finnish ceramic tableware for more than a century. The company's designs are distinguished by their unique design, timeless character and high functionality. A series of dishes, figurines and ornaments related to the characters from the Moomins' Valley have been produced by the brand since the 1950s, and the first drawings were approved by the book's author Tove Jansson herself. The authenticity of the fairy tale characters immortalised by Arabia is therefore guaranteed!
