Ossidiana Coffee and Espresso Brewer 70 ml - Cast Aluminium

The Ossidiana moka espresso brewer offers a sculptural take on classic Italian coffee brewing, designed by Mario Trimarchi. Its form is shaped from a cylindrical aluminium block by breaking away successive layers, giving it an architectural presence that is comfortable to hold. The cast aluminium body is fitted with a black thermoplastic resin handle and tab for safe handling during brewing. This 70 ml, one-cup capacity suits individual servings.

The moka espresso brewer is an icon of Italian coffee brewing culture. Among the designer yet classic brewers in the Alessi brand's catalogue, the visionary proposal by the famous Mario Trimarchi could not be missed. Fascinated by sculpture and the discovery of form in a formless block, the designer proposed a shape that was created by breaking off successive layers of aluminium from a cylindrical block (harking back to the Stone Age with the technique!). The resulting form resembles an architectural sculpture, which is comfortable to hold in the hand and which not only brews excellent coffee, but also looks beautiful. Made of cast aluminium, the brewer is equipped with a handle and a tab made of black thermoplastic resin. The three available capacities - for 1, 3 and 6 cups- will allow you to select an accessory to suit your individual needs.
