The Anna G bottle opener combines a functional cap-removing tool with a distinctive figurative design, featuring a smiling face silhouette that has remained unchanged since its 1994 introduction. Its lever mechanism lifts bottle caps while the sculpted form provides a comfortable grip. The piece is finished in a uniform black, consistent across the entire figure.
Originally designed back in 1994, Alessi's 'Anna G' corkscrew has been a crowd pleaser for decades. The matriarch of a rich family of items for the kitchen and table produced by the Italian brand, 'Anna G' is defined by an ever-smiling face that also happens to double up as tool for prying caps off of bottle tops.
