The 9093 stovetop kettle combines graphic geometric forms with a deep all-black finish, replacing the original stainless steel construction to intensify the silhouette's visual impact. Designed by architect Michael Graves, it features the iconic orange bird whistle at the spout, which sounds when the water reaches temperature. Compatible with induction hobs, the kettle is built for everyday use while retaining its status as a recognised design object.
In celebration of its 40th anniversary, the '9093' Alessi teakettle is realized in an all-black 2025 edition. Fusing European artistic cues with classic Americana, designer-architect Michael Graves created one of the world's most iconic design objects, which remains Alessi's best selling product today. The all-over use of deep, dramatic black, in place of the original stainless steel, intensifies the kettle's form and silhouette. Defined by a fusion of graphic shapes, this legendary design piece, for use on an induction hob, features the famous bird whistle in orange.
