It includes both an 'S' and 'P' stainless steel screw knob, allowing the mill to be configured as either a salt or pepper grinder. The ceramic grinding mechanism operates with a clockwise motion and is suitable for rock salt crystals or black peppercorns, though not compatible with sea salt, wet salt, or pink peppercorns.
