Ba-Rock Bowl 32 cm - Polished Steel

The Ba-Rock Bowl 32 cm, designed by Marta Sansoni, offers a semi-circular polished steel form decorated with three artificial stone pendants. Its mirror-like finish reflects the colour and texture of its surroundings, while the translucent stones catch and scatter light across their facets. The bowl suits glamour-inspired interiors and serves as a fruit or snack vessel with a striking, sculptural presence.

The larger of the Ba-Rock fruit or snack bowl is one of Marta Sansoni's designs realised for Alessi under the supervision of Laura Polinoro. The bowl belongs to the A di Alessi catalogue. The simple, metal, semi-circular vessel has been decorated with just three pendants with artificial stones. The original design is suitable for glamour interiors. Ba-Rock in the polished version is an object that plays with light - the translucent stones shine on the surface of the facets, while the accompanying steel acts like a mirror, taking on the colour and texture of its surroundings. In the lacquered versions, the stones complement the character of the coloured vessels, making the coloured objects even more vivid.
