The Frankby Glass Garden Coldframe combines eucalyptus hardwood construction with twin-walled polycarbonate glazing to create a controlled growing environment for seeds and young plants. The hardwood frame offers natural resistance to rot and decay, while the polycarbonate panels aid light diffusion and filter harmful UV rays without requiring shade paint. Two shelves provide tiered growing space, with a lifting lid fitted with a stay that adjusts to any height for variable ventilation and access to the upper shelf, while a single door opens to the lower shelf.
