The plant pot combines sculptural design with practical functionality through its undulating vertical lines that create striking light and shadow contrasts. Its fiber concrete construction ensures durability and water resistance, while the included saucer catches excess water for clean placement. The bottom drainage hole promotes healthy air flow for plants, and the organic shape adds visual interest to any space.
Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for 101 Copenhagen, the mini sized 'Arket' plant pot is equal parts sculpture and vessel. Characterized by a series of vertical lines that protrude from the base body for an undulating surface that offers a contrast between light and shadow, the organically shaped pot is accompanied by a saucer to catch water. As well as assisting drainage, a hole in the bottom of the pot also facilitates air flow for plants placed inside while the use of waterproof fiber concrete for both components ensures a long-lasting and hardworking vessel.
