The counter stool features a sophisticated fusion of materials with its cantilevered tubular steel frame and woven wicker seat. Its structural design provides added flexibility and comfort through the strength of steel construction. The light wood finish complements the natural wicker weave, creating a harmonious blend of industrial and traditional elements.
A design pioneer, Marcel Breuer married traditional craftsmanship with industrial methods and materials to help make tubular steel furniture an international sensation. In honour of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhuas, the Cesca chair is elevated to new heights - namely counter. Much like its predecessors, the Cesca stool fuses materials in a simple yet sophisticated way. The cantilevered frame emphases the strength of steel, lending the stool added flexibility and comfort. Whilst the woven wicker frame brings charm and character to the design.
