The counter stool combines traditional craftsmanship with industrial materials through its distinctive cantilever design. Its tubular steel frame provides flexibility and comfort, while the woven wicker seat brings natural texture and character. The cantilevered construction emphasizes structural strength and adds visual lightness to the design.
A design pioneer, Marcel Breuer married traditional craftsmanship with industrial methods and materials to help make tubular steel furniture an international sensation. In honour of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhuas, the Cesca chair is elevated to new heights - namely counter. Much like its predecessors, the Cesca stool fuses materials in a simple yet sophisticated way. The cantilevered frame emphases the strength of steel, lending the stool added flexibility and comfort. Whilst the woven wicker frame brings charm and character to the design.
