The dining table features a live-edge solid oak top that follows the original trunk profile, creating a unique character for each piece. Its European oak construction provides natural durability, while the anthracite steel frame legs add contemporary contrast with clean lines. The water-based protective coating maintains the wood's natural appearance without adding shine, and the steel frame ensures stable support for daily use. W280 x D100 x H75 cm.
Our Scandi Oak table is made for us from European Oak to a simple, Scandinavian design. Often, less is more, and this table lets the wood do the talking. Full of character the edges of the solid oak top follow the original profile of the trunk giving each table a unique profile. Contrasting this are the simple, clean lines of the steel frame legs, finished in anthracite. We absolutely love this table and we are sure you will too. Available in a large number of standard sizes; bespoke sizes on application. Wood, like any other natural porous material, continues to absorb and release humidy throughout its life. Variations in wood grain, texture, colour, knots and other naturally occuring characteristics are inherent in solid wood. The table top is pre-treated with three coats of a water-based protection giving a durable finish that does not change the nature of the beautiful oak i.e. there is no shine and you cannot see the difference between the treated table top and untreated oak.
