The dining chair combines a wide back and seat with a light, vertical design that provides ample seating comfort. Its solid beech construction offers durability while maintaining a lightweight profile, and the sculptural form adds visual interest. The compact design suits smaller spaces, while the sturdy frame ensures reliable support for daily use.
The versatile J104 chair, originally designed by Jørgen Bækmark in the 1960s, resembles both a dining chair and an easy chair. Combining a wide back and seat with a light, vertical graphic expression, the chairs unique composition provides ample seating within a compact, lightweight, solid beech construction. A sculptural classic of mid-century modern design, the J104 chair is particularly suited to contemporary dining rooms and living rooms constrained by space.
