The 3D Dining Chair offers innovative three-dimensional moulded veneer construction that delivers remarkable lightness and visual appeal. Its curved wood seat design features edges that point away from the user for comfort, while the tapered legs provide sturdy support with organic sculptural form. The semi matt lacquered walnut finish enhances the chair's natural wood grain and ensures lasting durability.
Created by Danish design studio Komplot Design, the iconic 3D dining chair - wood base – un- upholstered – wood is an award-winning chair design, permanently exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. The dining chair is the first furniture design to be based on the pioneering method of moulding three-dimensional veneer, a technique which affords the piece an appealing sense of lightness. As all edges of the elegant wood seat point away from the user, the chair possesses a beautifully inviting appearance. The tapered wood legs offer sturdy support, sculptural expression and further continuity of the chair’s organic materiality. A stunning complement to modern dining tables, the innovative 3D dining chair seamlessly suits any contemporary dining room style. Available in black stained beech, oak or walnut.
