The J52B Armchair showcases natural oak construction that emphasizes the wood's distinctive grain and warm tones. Its thoughtfully designed frame provides excellent support and comfort, with armrests positioned for optimal relaxation. The solid oak build ensures exceptional durability and stability, while the natural finish preserves the wood's authentic character. This versatile chair adapts seamlessly to dining settings or casual seating areas with its timeless proportions.
Borge Mogensen''s famous J52B chair was not surprisingly one of the first design classics that FDB Mobler chose to relaunch in the new era. Borge Mogensen is not only one of the most well-known figures in Danish furniture design, he has also created one of FDB Furniture''s most iconic chairs: J52B. The chair was also sold to the United States, where it became known as President Kennedy''s favourite slack-off chair. In addition to being a design classic, it is also a really comfortable chair that can be used both as a dining chair, or as a chair to relax in - as Kennedy apparently did.
