The Wishbone Chair combines iconic styling with its distinctive Y-shaped backrest, featuring a black beech frame that creates a bold, monochromatic appearance. Its black paper cord seat provides consistent visual flow while offering comfortable support, and the solid beech construction ensures reliable durability. The chair's curved armrests enhance usability, with its coordinated black finish creating striking uniformity.

Hans J. Wegner designed the very first model of the Wishbone Chair exclusively for Carl Hansen & Søn in 1949, since then this iconic chair has been in continuous production since its introduction in 1950.
