All Purpose Chair - Light Wood, Solid Wood

Carved from solid elm and beech, its simple design offers durability while the subtle seat indentation provides comfortable seating. The visible hammer-shaft joints connect to turned legs, adding authentic construction details that enhance the chair's timeless appeal.

When Ercol Lucian Ercolani founder set out to produce a contemporary range of traditional handmade furniture, he looked to the heritage of craft within the Chiltern Hills and areas surrounding his first factory. The result was a mid-century styled collection inspired by classic English furniture, including the functional All Purpose Chair which has been lovingly reproduced as part of the Ercols Originals collection. Carved from solid elm and beech in a range of colours and finishes, this simple design feature a turned wood back rest reminiscent of Windsor furniture. The seat features subtle indentation along the top with visible hammer-shaft joints joined to turned mid-century style legs.
