The Berkeley Dining Chair features a spindled back with slender curved legs and a hand-applied clear wax finish that preserves the oak's natural grain. Constructed using traditional mortise and tenon joinery, the solid oak frame provides superior structural strength while the wire-brushed timber surface brings out a mid-century-inspired texture. The relaxed curved back and muted natural finish give the chair a clean, understated character that works with a range of dining table styles.
An inviting design that provides comfort and good looks in equal measure. We've refreshed the classic spindled back chair with a few modern accents - featuring slender legs, a relaxed curved back and a muted natural finish. Offering a timeless clean appeal, they sit handsomely with our Berkeley Nordic Oak extending dining table. A Scandi inspired take on timeless wood furniture, Berkeley Nordic Oak's gently curved corners contrast against sleek edges and cool undertones to bring new life to our favourite timber. The oak is given a hand-applied clear wax finish to retain the subtle natural grain that traces every piece. We use traditional woodworking methods, like mortise and tenon solid wood frames for superior strength and Dovetail-jointed drawers for added resilience. Supplied with a choice of two handles, its understated style suits both modern and classic homes. Shaped entirely by nature, no two pieces are ever the same. To preserve the oak's natural beauty, the timber is carefully wire-brushed to bring out the grain and give a mid-century-inspired appearance. It is then finished with clear wax to protect the oak's subtle, natural grain traces.
