The clock mechanism operates with one 1.5v C LR14 battery and two more of the same type of batteries for the cuckoo mechanism. To use the clock without the cuckoo, remove the two batteries from the slots. The clock does not have a noisy flashing noise like others, purely just 'Kookoo'. The manufacturer provides you with a one-year warranty. You'll be automatically registered under the one-year warranty programme. The warrant is against defects in materials and manufacture under ordinary consumer use for two years from the date of purchase.
