The Feuille vase from Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec's Vases Découpage series features a hand-dipped glazed ceramic construction with an abstract clay attachment. Its layered composition presents shifting shades of light blue and grey, creating a distinct silhouette from every angle. The glazed ceramic finish adds depth to the surface, while the organic clay form introduces textural contrast against the smooth vessel body.
Taken from Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec 'Vases Découpage' series, 'Feuille' is a poetic hand-dipped vessel defined by an abstract attachment in clay. Presenting shades of light blue and grey, the glazed ceramic vase offers a distinct and unique composition from every angle, which Bouroullec says '[forms] a fragile balance as contrasting colours and layers converge to yield a new harmony'.
