Lipstick Vase - Titanium, Murano Glass

The Lipstick Vase combines handcrafted Murano glass construction with an intricate layered design, featuring an interior core coated in crystal glass with texture applied while still hot. Its exterior surface is defined by vertically aligned raised lines that surround the outer layer, which is carved to reveal a smooth sandblasted interior beneath. The contrast between the textured ridges and the exposed sandblasted surface creates a dynamic interplay of light across the titanium-toned glass.

Designed by Stories of Italy for Italian brand Visionnaire, 'Lipstick' is an exciting exploration of texture, material and light. Entirely handcrafted, the vase presents an interior core coated in a layer of Murano crystal, to which texture is applied while still hot. On the green vessel's exterior — also Murano glass — a series of vertically aligned raised lines surround the outer layer, which is carved into the smooth interior — the exposed part of which is sandblasted.
