The Lipstick vase combines textural contrast and light play through its dual-layer Murano glass construction. Its interior core is coated in Murano crystal with texture applied while still hot, while the exterior features vertically aligned irregular ribbings carved into the smooth inner layer. Entirely handcrafted, the clear vase presents an interior core coated in a layer of Murano crystal, to which texture is applied while still hot. On the vessel's exterior — also Murano glass — a series of vertically aligned irregular ribbings surround the outer layer, which is carved into the smooth interior — the exposed part of which is sandblasted.
