The Wolfgang Tillmans Four Books 45th Edition brings together four previously published volumes into a single consolidated work. Tillmans edited the collection himself, drawing from his extensive exploration of photography including darkroom-produced abstract images made without a camera. The compilation examines life at the turn of the millennium, spanning the breadth of his photographic practice across the period.
Wolfgang Tillmans has pushed photography to its limits and explored the medium more than any other artist of his generation, including making abstract images in a darkroom without a camera. For this collection, Tillmans edited his previous four books with TASCHEN into a single work examining life at the turn of the millennium.
