Helmut Newton Baby Sumo Collector's Edition with Bookstand

The Helmut Newton Baby Sumo combines a limited collector's format with a pr... ecision-crafted stainless-steel bookstand designed by Philippe Starck, complete with a pedestal. Published in a numbered edition of 10,000 copies, it is produced at exactly half the dimensions of the iconic 1999 original Sumo volume. Each copy includes a booklet documenting the making of the original publication, edited and revised by June Newton. Created to mark both Helmut Newton's 100th birthday and TASCHEN's 40th anniversary, it represents a scaled but faithful reproduction of one of photography publishing's landmark releases.
