The Tug artwork by Henry Ward features an abstract composition rendered in oil paint on canvas. Created by the London-based artist known for working across painting, sculpture, and drawing, the piece reflects his practice of building an ongoing dialogue between process and environment. The oil medium provides rich depth and tonal range, characteristic of Ward's hands-on approach to mark-making.
An abstract piece is created using oil paint on canvas. London-based Henry Ward works primarily as a painter, while also making sculptures and drawings. He creates all his artworks at his kitchen table, in his shed, or in the studio as a way of starting a constant dialogue between how and where we work.
