The Figure Ground III artwork features a geometric, abstract composition created with acrylic and gesso on canvas. Set within a grid system, the piece represents the unnaturally ordered character of the urban landscape, combining grid-like forms with fluid, circular shapes. Inspired by Sol LeWitt's Conceptual Art movement, artist Sabrina Brouwers challenges manmade principles through the tension between structured and organic forms.
