Tatlin Vase - Brass

The Tatlin Vase features a standout silhouette originally designed by sculptor Ivar Ålenius Björk in the mid-20th century for Swedish company Ystad-Metall. Revived in agreement with Björk's family, it is constructed from three separate components cut from polished brass. The high-gloss brass finish reflects light across its sculptural form, adding visual depth to its clean, architectural profile.

A sculptor best known for creating bust portraits, Ivar Ålenius Björk (1905 - 1978) was also responsible for the design of the iconic 'Tatlin' vase, originally created for the now defunct Swedish company Ystad-Metall. The piece is now revived by Skultuna who, in agreement with Björk's family, has taken on its production for a re-release of 'Tatlin's' standout silhouette and its three components cut from polished brass.
