It is, also, believed to have protective and cleansing properties, while bergamot helps lift the mood and relieve tension, making this a perfect candle for creating a peaceful, stress-free space. Beyond its strong aroma, burning a candle with essential oils also imparts their beneficial properties to the body. Soy Candle Care: First Burn: Allow the candle to burn until the top layer of wax has melted completely edge to edge (approx. 2–3 hours). This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn. Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to 5mm (¼ inch) to avoid soot, smoking, or an oversized flame. Burn Time: Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
