The Toiletpaper 'Snakes' small square vase combines surrealist imagery with functional glassware, born from a collaboration between Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari. Its transparent glass construction features a series of relief-sculpted snakes slithering across the surface, creating a striking visual contrast between the clear vessel and its tactile decoration. The square silhouette provides a stable base while the multicolour snake detailing adds a pop-art sensibility to the piece.
A collaborative effort between Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari of Toiletpaper magazine, and eccentric design brand Seletti, the 'Snakes' square vase presents a surreal mix of black humour, pop culture and contemporary design. Fully deserving of its 'cult product' status, this glass vessel is characterised by a series of slithering snakes across its surface for a memorable interior accent.
