The Studland mirror features a bevelled glass centre framed by decorative stud detailing along its border. The strong bevel adds depth and visual weight to the glass, while the distressed gold finish gives the frame a warm, aged character. Stud accents are applied selectively around the frame, creating a refined decorative detail without overwhelming the overall form.
When we first designed this mirror, we had studs the whole way round, and quickly concluded that it was too much - a stud too far, perhaps. This is far more elegant and we are thrilled with the result. A strong bevel on the glass adds gravitas - a worthwhile extravagance.
