The Portal wall mirror features a distinctive layered paint effect that adds depth and visual texture to its turned wooden frame. The frame is first lacquered, then selectively sanded along the edges to reveal the natural wood beneath, creating a contrast between the harlequin green finish and the raw timber. A final clear lacquer coat seals the surface, protecting both the painted and exposed wood areas.
This startlingly lovely mirror is lifted by the paint effect. First the turned wooden framed is lacquered and then many of the edges are sanded off to just reveal the wood beneath. Finally a clear lacquer is applied to seal it. Lots of depth and interest...available in three colours.
