The Francis wall mirror features a gradient of pigments around its perimete... r, evoking the oxidation of antique mirrors and the layered tones of a make-up palette. Its aluminium base faithfully reproduces the deep, vivid colour treatment developed through an empirical design process. The back is subtly tapered in a spinning-top form, suspending the mirror from its centre and tilting it slightly off the wall in the manner of Venetian mirrors.
