The Crystal Large Vase features a naturally grown crystalline structure, formed by dissolving minerals in boiling water and allowing them to develop around placed objects such as ceramics and 3D prints. Each piece results in a completely unique organic form, with this aureate yellow variant displaying warm fluctuating tones of mustard and ochre across its light-reflecting surface. An inner glass vessel supports a large number of stems, making it suited for abundant floral arrangements. The organically formed crystal rim varies in shape and finish between pieces, and minor natural crystal shedding during transit is a normal characteristic of the material.
This extraordinary collection of vases by Mineral Series is the creation of artist-founder Isaac Monté. Produced in the brand’s Rotterdam studio, vases are grown entirely from natural minerals, dissolved in boiling water. The designer influences the formation of each crystalline structure by placing objects into the tank, from ceramics to 3D prints. Once cooled, individual results are beautiful, organic, and completely unique. This wide vase in aureate yellow manifests in warm tones of mustard and ochre that fluctuate naturally throughout the piece. An inner glass vessel holds a large number of stems for abundant, striking displays. A work of art in its own right, this one-off centerpiece endlessly captivates with its light-reflecting texture and rare and sophisticated energy. Every piece is one of a kind. The organically formed crystal rim may vary in shape and finish, while a small amount of natural crystal shedding during transit is to be expected. This is a normal characteristic of the material and does not affect the integrity or quality of the piece.
