General Candle Care: Adjust the wick for an even burn Burn your candle for at least one hour to prevent tunneling, and no more than three hours at a time Stop burning when there's 1cm of wax left Wipe away any black residue from your candle or holder with a damp cloth During Burning: Place on a heat-proof surface Keep away from pets, drafts, curtains, vents, heat and direct sunlight After Burning: Keep the burn pool clean Give your candle a break by letting it cool before lighting up again Refilling Candle Refilling your holder takes a little more love than a single-use candle Remove previous candle remnants using a blunt utensil and/or by carefully pouring boiling water into the holder to melt the remaining wax Clean gently the holder with water and ensure it is dry before refilling with a new candle Wick Care: Trim only when wax is hardened Trim away burnt mushroom wick, leaving 5-6mm before each use
