The Square Wallpaper set combines batik-technique waxed rice paper sheets for a handcrafted, irregular aesthetic. Each sheet is individually distinct, with natural variations in shade and texture that result from artisanal manufacture in India, making every set unique. The sheets can be applied to cover a surface fully or arranged in sections to form a pattern, with visible seams between sheets contributing to the overall decorative effect rather than detracting from it. Each sheet measures 50 x 70 cm, and the full set of 12 covers approximately 4 square metres.
