AMARANTHA Wallpaper - Ink

The AMARANTHA wallpaper features a French rococo-style block-printed background with an overlaid floral motif, inspired by a print dating back to around 1850. Its inky blues, gold and turquoise colour palette provides opulent appeal, while the traditional design offers timeless character. The block-printed construction ensures authentic texture and depth.

For the new season, House of Hackney visited the iconic ZUBER archives in Rixheim, France and set about reimagining a selection of their traditional wallpapers for a current audience. The Amarantha design inspired by a print dating back to around 1850 showcases a French rococo-style block-printed background with an overlaid floral motif. An unexpected colour palette comprising inky blues, gold and turquoise gives this opulent design contemporary appeal.
