The Arya vase features mouth-blown glass construction, shaped in a mold to achieve the refined silhouette characteristic of the collection designed by Giulio Cappellini and Antonio Facco. Its deep brown colouring draws from the hues of antique porcelain and traditional East Asian glassware, reflecting the collection's interpretation of classic Asian vessel forms. The blown glass construction produces subtle organic variation in the surface, adding depth to the rich, uniform colour.
One of many pieces that form Giulio Cappellini and Antonio Facco's 'Arya' family, this vase is an apt summary of the collection's contemporary interpretations of classic Asian vessels. Mouth blown into a mold, the glass vase also reflects its Eastern influence in its colour — a deep brown inspired by the hues of antique porcelain and typical glassware from East Asia.
