The Wells-Next-The-Sea Norfolk Tide Clock combines mechanical animation with its moving seascape and dual tide indication system. Its semi-diurnal timer operates on 12 hours 25 minutes cycles, while the artistic scenery updates every 30 minutes to track tidal movements. The mechanically animated illustrations feature beach huts, sand dunes, and basking seals that bring the Norfolk coastline to life. Battery operation provides consistent performance, and the demonstration button allows manual activation of the complete tidal cycle.

With illustrations to take you back to summer days in Norfolk, England - the Wells-Next-the-Sea Tide Clock captures everything to love about the Norfolk coast. Beach huts, sand dunes, pine forest and basking seals all, of course, included. Combining the iconic views from beyond the local life boat station with helpful tide-keeping indications, the full tide cycle is cleverly depicted in the moving mechanical scene and on a dial in the clock face. Designed to be both a helpful indication of when is a good time to go for a walk at low water or a swim at high tide, the clock is also a moving piece of artwork, brought to life by the artistic seascape that updates every thirty minutes. The scenery updates every 30 minutes to keep track of the average moving tide. Like all tide clocks, it is set to work on a semi-diurnal timer of 12 hours 25 minutes and 15 seconds between high tides. No internet connections required or anything difficult to get right - just set the clock to 'high tide' when your favourite coastal location is also in flood and you're in sync. The ‘mechanically animated’ illustrations can be demonstrated to friends and family at the push of the demonstration button on the clock – it will then complete an entire tidal loop with boats bobbing up and down along the way. Easy to hang, following the hanging guide that is included, and requires just a single screw in the wall. This clock is for indoor use only – and please don't hang it within 50cm (20 inches) of a radiator. Runs on regular batteries (included, of course).
