About Renee Ortiz: I studied art at Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design about a bazillion years ago. I finished my education at Loyola Marymount University. Then I put my degree to use by working in the White House for a few years! Long story short, married, raised and homeschooled three fabulous kids who are now launching their careers. I opened my own studio / gallery in Newport Beach, and teach lessons. I try to plein air paint with LPAPA as much as possible and when I'm not out painting the sea you might find me working on live wedding paintings!
